PUFC Academy!

The weekends travels brought us to Peterborough United FC and there Academy where one of our young talented players shone and got himself on the score sheet whilst on trial at a league one club, overall the opportunity provided us with a great experience whilst watching two exciting academy sides come up against each other.

From Australia to the UK!

Massive thanks to Highmoor Ibis and EPLSports for giving our boys the opportunity to play against youth of the similar age from a different country during the week.

This week our U15/16’s group took on international opponents in our Australian counterparts which proved to be a entertaining game, all involved enjoyed the game and the experience would be unforgettable for our boys.

Chelsea vs Arsenal!

Very good and entertaining game at Stamford Bridge on Friday evening as our U16’s travelled to Chelsea FC to watch there U23’s take on a talented Arsenal U23’s side.

This game proved to be a game not to be missed with plenty of slick, short and sharp passes from Arsenal who kept possession of the ball very well. It was a 16 year old who opened the scoring and quite possibly man of the match.

These games provide our boys with a great learning experience, and enables all not just watch a game of football but to study and analysis young professional footballers.

Could you be playing on the Stamford Bridge pitch in a couple years time?

Good evening at Fulham FC last night watching the academy train and also the U23’s Premier League 2 game against Aston Villa who involved an England international in there side.

Fulhams young side controlled the game and stepped it up after the break with three goals, grabbing the three points!

Well done and huge congratulations to our very own, Hamza Oubbad who has signed a one year with Cheltenham Town FC and there youth team for the 2016/2017 season, Hamza started at our club as a eight year old and played with us up until 16 years old. Promdomitenly a central defender but can also play in centre midfield and is cool, calm and composed on the ball – distributes the ball well from the back.

Everyone at our club wishes Hamza well over the season.
